Southwestern Impressionists
Fine Art of the Southwestern US
Fine art of the Southwestern US has been present at the Haley Library since 1978 when an Art Committee comprised of three Midland, Texas collectors, Bobby Holt, Bobby Hillin, and Bobby French produced the first Haley Library Art Show and Sale.
Proceeds from these fine art sales and exhibits over these many years have provided income to the library to supplement the operating budget. J. Evetts Haley recognized the benefit to the western psyche of fine art that represents the natural world and spaces that we all admire and respect.
